Extinction

 The Handmaid’s Tale brought up an issue that isn’t brought up in the real world; what if one day it becomes increasingly difficult to reproduce? In the stories and media I’ve seen, it's often a question of overpopulation or artificial species. It brought about the question of whether such a future is realistic. I don’t believe society will ever reverse women’s status again, but I believe there will be an overpopulation issue. This novel made me question how humanity will deal with such issues, and how far we have to go avoid our extinction.
